Dongguan manufacturers analyze the role of Teflon rotary seal

What is a rotary seal? We have previously stated that the seal is a material or part that prevents fluid or solid particles from leaking from adjacent joint faces and prevents foreign matter such as dust and moisture from entering the interior of the machine. The rotary seal is a type of dynamic seal. The rotary seal consists of a slip ring made of Teflon and a rubber O-ring that provides elasticity. It is used to seal rods, shafts and pins with rotating or oscillating motion. Rotary joints and other places, there are rotary hydraulic rotation in various industrial fields such as construction machinery, construction machinery and automotive equipment. It is a two-way rotating seal that can withstand pressure on both sides or alternating pressure.

What are the characteristics of rotary seals? Why are rotary seals widely used? Mainly because of the dimensional stability of the rotating seal; high pressure resistance, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, resistance to most media, strong chemical resistance. Moreover, the installation space is small, the groove is simple, and the lubrication chamber is provided. It is required to provide a piston rod or piston seal. The most important thing is that the friction is small, and it does not crawl when starting, ensuring constant motion even at low speeds. However, it should be noted that the fluid used in high temperature is fluorine and silicone rubber. The working temperature is greater than or equal to 160 degrees Celsius. It is recommended to use a modified PTFE material oil seal. It is also recommended to use the PTFE oil seal when lubricating the legs.
