Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which is resistant to acids, alkalis and various organic solvents, is almost insoluble in any solvent.  PTFE has high temperature resistance.  Its extreme low friction coefficient is good for the lubrication application.  It is also an ideal coating for cleaning maintenance of the inner layer of the pipe.  Followings are the PTFE properties.

1. Low friction coefficient.

2. Good flexibility at low temperature and thermal stability at high temperature.  Working temperature from -180°C to +260°C or from -292°F to +500°F.

3. Good chemical resistance to all normal solvents, acids, and bases.

4. Low dielectric constant and low dissipation factor

5. Non-flammability

6. Non-stick and to clean

7. Long-term weathering

8. High arc resistance, and high surface and volume resistivity

PTFE is widely used in hardware, machinery, electronics, telecommunications, home appliances, valves, medical, automotive, petrochemical, military, drone and other industries.
